NEWS!

For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end.  Hebrews 6:10-11

  • Reminder: At our last conference meeting there was an open floor discussion whether to keep or modify our COVID rules. Members requested to keep COVID rules in place and agreed to re-evaluate at our future conference meetings. Please continue to follow those guidelines, in-particular mask wearing, sanitizing hands, and generally being mindful of those around our presence.  We have numerous high-risk members and/or people who live with high-risk individuals.  We understand masks present some discomfort for some wearers. In an attempt to accommodate those who need a break from their mask, we have 30 mins between Sunday School and Worship Service to allow members to take a break. Additionally,  while we do not rush worship under any cost, we don't have wasted time during  our worship service program to reduce the amount of time masks are worn.  Individuals singing in the choir stand or speaking on the program are not asked to wear a mask while carrying out  those duties unless they choose to do so. We all are past tired of dealing with COVID,  and figuring out the best way to navigate it for a group of people is not easy so thank you for your patience, understanding, and consideration as we keep moving forward through this, and we pray this will soon be over
  • Intercessory Prayer is Friday, October 28th, at 7pm
  • Reminder: This upcoming Sunday, October 30th,  is a 5th Sunday so we do not have Sunday School or Worship Service
  • Fall Festival will be held after service on 1st Sunday November 6th. The format will be different this year. There will be stations outside of the sanctuary for the children to get different goodies following service. More specific details will be provided during service. Please encourage those around you, especially with young children to come and worship with us and allow the young children to receive some goodies... and see/meet other children in the fellowship. A HUGE thank you to the team who puts this together each, year, it is greatly appreciated
  • Please continue to check on one another during the week. We are in a season of a lot of sickness and grief touching members of our fellowship. Please keep the sick and those grieving in your prayers
  • THANK YOU, to each of you for making our Homecoming special. Several visitors mentioned how warm and welcome everyone made them feel and how well the church grounds and building is cared for. So thank you for being the WONDERFUL fellowship that you are!
  • Anytime you would like to participate on the morning worship service program please see Pastor Steve. If you would like to join a choir, usher board, serve as a Sunday School Teacher or backup teacher, please see the head of the particular group you would like to join.
  • Our Bible Reading Plan has us currently at Leviticus 25
  • Please see the flyer below for the Eastern Ministerial Alliance Fall Revival  on November 2nd -4th at 7pm nightly.  Each night's services are in-person at the host churches so please check the details below. We are at a stage where different locations have different rules in dealing with the COVID risk. Please be mindful of each location's specific COVID protocols listed on the flyer.  We will not have Virtual Bible Study on November 2nd to allow support of the EMA Fall Revival
Conference Meeting Notes - September 14, 2022

  • The congregation was given the option to adjust COVID protocols. The congregation chose to maintain current COVID protocols at this time.
  • We are looking for individuals interested in being part of a team to reach out to the sick and shut in to offer encouragement. If you are interested in leading or being a part of this team, please see Mother Doris Thomas
  • Take Out plates will be available for all who wish to participate for Homecoming
